Bought this for my daughter’s 14th birthday and she hasn't put it down since! She’s always wanted to learn guitar but was intimidated by the 'sore fingers' phase. The silicone strings on this DL-Lite are a total game changer for her. She was playing her first few chords within an hour thanks to the app. It’s compact enough for her to take to her friend's house, and the headphone jack is a lifesaver for us—no more loud practice sessions in the living room! Best gift ever.

Living in a thin-walled apartment makes practicing a nightmare. This silent guitar is exactly what I needed. I can plug in my studio headphones and play at 2 AM without a single complaint from neighbors. The sound engine is surprisingly rich. My only tiny gripe is getting used to the tension of the silicone strings, but after a day or two, it feels very natural. Solid 4.5 stars.

I’ve tried traditional guitars before and always quit because of the steep learning curve. The AeroBand app makes it feel like playing a game (kind of like Guitar Hero but with real chords). The pressure-sensitive fretboard is very responsive. I’m finally making progress and actually enjoying the process instead of struggling with steel strings. If you're a beginner who gets frustrated easily, start here.

I had an old Yourock guitar. It looked like a toy. I like the way the Aeroband is the size and weight of a real guitar. I know some complain about the weight. They should get an old solid Les Paul. That is a heavy guitar. The fingerboard looks and feels exactly like the Yourock but the Aeroband plays a lot better. Much less false note when inputting Midi. Being able to capo up and still play at the first fret is great. Also going down a few semitones is a real bonus. Next version don't have the side of the neck light up (pointless) and just have where the capo is stay lit so you always know it's on. Instead of the lit neck have a number 1 to 9 so you know what guitar, bass or banjo sound you're on. As I play it more I will think of more changes you can make to the next version.

At the ripe old age of 62 I finally decided to tackle a bucket list item to learn how to play guitar. After 8 months of practising religiously, I took the plunge and purchased the Aero Guitar. It has been a game changer. During my first 8 months, I focused on some finger fret board exercises along with learning 6 basic popular chords and strumming patterns using a regular acoustic guitar. Progress was slow but steady. Since switching to the Aero guitar, I have noticed significant and quicker progress in my learning process. It is easier to play than a regular guitar and made learning easier with the app. Other reviews on this site knock this guitar for what it can’t do in comparison to a regular guitar, but what about what it CAN do in comparison to a regular guitar? It is highly customizable via the app, and the ability to play both an acoustic sound or an electric guitar sound at the press of a button is amazing. No need for an amplifier with the built in speaker, making it highly portable. I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone but especially beginners

I bought the aeroband for more than 6 months. Love it. One coment, though, it'unnecessary heavy. Since it has a transpose key, a shorter finger board (7fret eg) should be a good alternative or option It'll then be lighter and more handy. Great for elder players or beginners.
